Impacto provoca El irreconocible aspecto de #GeorgeMichael tres meses antes de su muerte

Conmoción mundial ha generado la repentina muerte del cantante George Michael, quien se convirtió en un verdadero ícono de la música pop.

El músico dejó de existir durante la tarde de ayer 25 de diciembre, causando gran pesar entre sus millones de seguidores alrededor de todo el mundo. Tal como lo confirmó posteriormente su representante, el británico falleció a causa de un ataque al corazón.

Cabe señalar que la estrella había experimentado un evidente cambio físico durante este último tiempo. De hecho, el sitio norteamericano de espectáculos TMZ publicó recientemente unas imágenes en las que queda de manifiesto sus problemas de peso, luciendo un aspecto radicalmente distinto al que solía mostrar.

Las fotografías fueron tomadas a mediados de septiembre mientras George Michael se encontraba en un restaurant en Londres.

Sus apariciones en público durante estos meses previos a su muerte fueron esporádicas. Una de las últimas veces que apareció en público fue en julio del año pasado en Zurich, cuando se disponía a celebrar su cumpleaños 52 junto a algunos amigos.

Por esa fecha, los medios británicos informaban que el intérprete de Careless Whisper había subido casi 19 kilos y no estaría muy bien de ánimo.

Tras comenzar en el mundo de la música en 1981 en el dúo británico Wham!, junto a Andrew Ridgeley, a partir de 1987 se dedicó a su carrera como solista.

Los problemas de salud fueron una constante en la vida de George Michael. En 2011 fue internado por un cuadro de neumonía que puso en riesgo su vida, lo que lo obligó a suspender una serie de conciertos.

En 2014, el músico fue trasladado a un hospital en Londres, tras presentar una molestia, lo que obligó a uno de sus amigos a llamar a la línea de emergencia, para pedir ayuda. A lo largo de su carrera, el músico vendió más de 100 millones de discos.
